Founded in Bend, Oregon, Patrick Casey & Co. LLP offers years of experience handling personal income taxes, business income taxes, estate taxes, and much more. We’re known for our high-quality work, responsiveness, diligence, and deep roots in Central Oregon.

2000 – Ryan Patrick and Lynne Casey create Patrick Casey & Co. LLP.
2006 – Cody Martin joins Patrick Casey.

Cody Martin, CPA
Partner
Cody was born and raised in Central Oregon. After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and International Business from Oregon State University in 2005, he began his public accounting career in the tax department of KPMG in Portland.
In 2006, Cody returned to Central Oregon after deciding that Bend was not only his home but an ideal place to work. He joined Patrick Casey & Co. LLP, working with small businesses and individuals, providing income tax preparation, business consulting, and planning services.
Away from the office, Cody enjoys spending time with his wife and twin sons, and appreciating everything that Central Oregon has to offer. He is an avid Beavers fan and enjoys hunting, fishing, roping, traveling, and all things outdoors.
Cody is licensed in the State of Oregon.
Kyle Dover, CPA, CFP®
Partner
Kyle is a long-term Central Oregonian who grew up in Bend. He joined Patrick Casey & Co. LLP in 2007, returning to Bend after receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida.
Kyle works with our business, fiduciary, and individual clients, providing income tax preparation, planning services, and accounting consulting. He obtained his CPA license in January 2012 and is a member of the AICPA. In December 2014, Kyle obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification.
Kyle enjoys exploring the world with his wife and daughter. He is an outdoor enthusiast who is passionate about skiing, hiking, photography, and swimming.
Kyle is licensed in the State of Oregon.
Chelsea Mayer, CPA, CFP®
Partner
Chelsea joined Patrick Casey & Co. LLP in October 2016 and works with our small business and individual clients, providing tax preparation and planning services. She is also passionate about trust and estate work. She was born and raised in Solana Beach, California, and ventured to the University of Idaho to study mathematics, play soccer, and experience the seasons in the Northwest. After completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, she earned her Master’s in Accountancy in 2015. Chelsea worked in public accounting for two years in Portland before moving to Bend. In October 2020, Chelsea obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification.
Chelsea is a travel enthusiast who loves learning about new cultures. In her free time, she enjoys snowboarding, camping, playing soccer, and hiking with her husband and two kids.
Chelsea is licensed in the State of Oregon.
Angela Schwebke, CPA
Angela is a native Oregonian, born and raised in La Grande. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Linfield College in McMinnville in 1997.
After graduating from college, Angie moved to Redding, California, where she worked for four years in public accounting and obtained her California CPA license. Wanting to be closer to home, Angie joined Patrick Casey & Co. in July 2001. Angie works with small businesses and individuals, preparing financial statements and providing income tax preparation and planning services. She received her Oregon CPA license in August 2001.
In her free time, Angie enjoys visiting her family in La Grande and outdoor activities, such as camping, fishing, hiking, and swimming.
Angie is licensed in the States of California and Oregon.
Kirsten Herschleb, CPA, CFP®
After receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Accounting from Montana State University-Billings, Kirsten began her public accounting career in Montana in 2013. She moved to Bend and joined Patrick Casey & Co. LLP in November 2015. In early 2018, Kirsten and her husband moved to Alaska to be closer to their commercial fishing operation. She currently splits time between Alaska and Oregon to enjoy the best of both worlds. Kirsten is an avid mountain biker and skier who loves spending time in the mountains.
Kirsten works with business and individual tax clients, providing income tax preparation and planning services.
Kirsten obtained her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in December 2022.
Kirsten is licensed in the States of Alaska and Oregon.
JR Aube, CPA
JR joined Patrick Casey & Co. LLP in December 2017 and works with our fiduciary, business, and individual clients, providing tax preparation, planning, and bookkeeping services. He was born and raised in Anaheim, California, and received a Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 2010. After working as a structural engineer in Los Angeles for a few years, JR realized that his passions lie elsewhere. In 2015, he obtained a Master’s degree in Accountancy and began working in public accounting, opening up his opportunity to join our team and move up to Bend a couple of years later.
JR’s love of the outdoors was a large factor in his decision to move to Bend. He enjoys river rafting/kayaking, camping, snowboarding, and sports of all kinds. But more than anything, he loves spending time with his wife and two children (a son born in 2018 and a daughter born in 2020).
JR is licensed in the State of Oregon.
Jade Davenport, CPA
Jade joined Patrick Casey & Co. LLP in January 2019. She was born and raised in Idaho Falls, Idaho, and received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting and Finance from Idaho State University in 2017. After completing her Bachelor’s degree, she earned her Master’s in Accountancy and Business Administration in 2018.
She has always enjoyed a variety of sports and is a football fan and avid runner. She is looking forward to exploring the trails and outdoor activities Oregon has to offer.
Jade is licensed in the State of Oregon.
Cameron Tonning, CPA, CFP®
Cameron joined Patrick Casey & Co. LLP in July 2019 and works with our small business and individual clients, providing tax preparation and planning services. He was born and raised in Wilsonville, Oregon, and received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Accounting and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in General Science from the University of Oregon in 2016. Cameron worked in public accounting in Portland for three years before moving to Bend. In June 2021, Cameron obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification.
Outside of work, Cameron enjoys taking advantage of all the outdoor activities that Central Oregon has to offer. He enjoys mountain biking, skiing, hiking, tennis, and soccer.
Cameron is licensed in the State of Oregon.
Irene Gong, CPA
Irene joined Patrick Casey as a staff accountant in December 2017 and prepares both business and individual income tax returns. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and finance from Indiana University in 2016 and Master’s degree in professional accountancy from the University of California, Davis in 2017.
From 2020 to 2022, Irene gained experience in fund administration and corporate accounting from two international firms in China. Irene missed the Patrick Casey family and the beautiful Bend area so she returned to continue her tax career with Patrick Casey. Outside of work, Irene loves to learn more about other cultures through music, food and entertainment.
Marc Balsalobre
Marc joined Patrick Casey & Co. in July, 2023. Born in Eugene and moving at a young age to Cincinnati, Ohio, he obtained his BBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Cincinnati in 1998.
Upon graduation, Marc worked in Public Accounting for a large Midwest accounting firm for several years before returning to Oregon in 2000 where he has spent much of his career working in both Corporate and State Agency finance settings.
In addition to time with his wife and daughter, Marc enjoys several hobbies and interests including being an avid runner, mountain biking, cooking and travel.
Jacob Aube
Jake joined Patrick Casey & Co. LLP in November 2023 and prepares both business and individual income tax returns. He was born and raised in Anaheim, CA and received his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and finance from California State University Fullerton in 2012. After graduation, Jake worked in public accounting in Long Beach, CA for seven years at a large accounting firm specializing in partnership and corporate tax returns.
In his free time, Jake enjoys travelling abroad and experiencing new cultures and places. He also enjoys spending time with his family in Bend and taking advantage of all the outdoor activities that Bend has to offer.
Lisa Martin
Lisa joined Patrick Casey & Co. LLP in 2017. She prepares personal property tax returns and Form 1099s. She also assists with signing and filing income tax returns. Lisa obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Oregon and previously worked in the drinking water field, both in a testing laboratory and for a water utility company.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, baking, camping, and hiking with her family.
Mary Aasland
Mary joined Patrick Casey & Co. LLP in the summer of 2015 as an administrative assistant. Mary brings many years of office and customer service experience to her job. Whether working for corporate leaders at Mitsubishi International, assisting the President & Vice President at a real estate office, working as an Educational Assistant in the Bend-La Pine Schools, or helping to run a family business, it’s always been crucial to her to make sure all the details are taken care of, and the client is happy.
Mary grew up in the Gresham area and has been in Bend with her family since 1992. Mary’s husband, children (including their spouses), granddaughter, dog Buddy, extended family and friends have always been her center. She enjoys being outdoors, baking pies, reading books, and crafting and creating furniture with her husband.
Kim Fergerson
Kim joined Patrick Casey & Co. LLP in the fall of 2017 as an administrative assistant. She worked in the banking industry for seventeen years and as a substitute educational assistant in the Bend-La Pine School District for four years. With a strong background in customer service, professionalism and attention to detail, joining the team at Patrick Casey was a perfect fit for her.
She is an Oregon native, born and raised in the Gresham/Troutdale area, and moved to Bend in 2010 with her family. She loves spending time with her husband, three children, two grandchildren.
LYDIA MCLANE
Lydia joined Patrick Casey & Co. LLP in 2021. She assists in administrative tasks, preparation of Forms 1099, and document management. She moved to Bend in 2016 to attend Oregon State University – Cascades to study biology. Lydia enjoys building relationships with clients and excels in creative problem solving.
In her free time, she enjoys camping, hiking, reading, and exploring new places.
Hannah Harris
Hannah joined Patrick Casey & Co. LLP in December 2022 and assists with Forms 1099, 1040, and personal property tax preparation, as well as administrative duties. After earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism and Creative Writing from the University of Oregon in 2015, she explored work in various fields ranging from trail maintenance and copy editing to teaching English to children in Spain.
Hannah’s interest in tax preparation is the ability to help clients in ways that feel meaningful. When she’s not in the office, you can find her at the gym, hiking with her dog, Finley, or curling up inside with a nice meal and her cat, Mo.
Hannah is a Licensed Tax Preparer in Oregon.
Erica Clark, CFP®
Joining our financial planning company 2260 West LLC in 2023, Erica brings investment and wealth management expertise. In 2016 she moved from New Zealand to Coeur ‘d Alene, Idaho to work for Hart Capital Management, Inc. (Registered Investment Advisor) as Head Trader ($400 million + AUM). Throughout her time at Hart she provided oversight managing and building investment portfolios, worked with system vendors, helped manage operations, supported compliance and most importantly helped service clients with their daily and continuous wealth management needs. Erica managed all technical aspects associated with merging Hart with Mercer Advisors in January 2021. Prior to Hart Capital and Mercer Advisors, Erica worked within banking, and IT within the New Zealand Government.
Erica is from Spokane, WA and graduated from University of Idaho with a degree in Business Management while also playing on the Division 1 soccer team with colleague Chelsea Mayer, CPA at Patrick Casey & Co. LLP. In her free time, you can find her skiing, golfing, or swimming in Lake Coeur d’Alene with her husband and two boys.
Erica has her Series 65 license and obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2022.
Ryan Patrick, Retired Partner/Founder
Ryan retired in October 2021, after 42 years of public practice in Bend. During his career, Ryan was involved with many local non-profit organizations and was an instructor with the Central Oregon Community College Small Business Development Center. Ryan is a former board member and chairman of the board of directors of Cascade Bancorp and Bank of the Cascades. Ryan is also a former member of the board of directors of St. Charles Health System. Ryan will continue to work with the firm through the transition period.
Ryan is truly thankful for the many wonderful clients he has had the privilege to serve, his partners and the incredible team who will continue to serve the needs of Patrick Casey & Co. LLP clients.
Ryan and his wife Glenna look forward to traveling, spending time with family and friends and expanding opportunities to better serve their Church and community.

Lynne Casey, Retired Partner/Founder
Lynne retired December 31, 2020, after 40 years working as a certified public accountant in Bend. She loved working with her partners and staff and will miss the friendships that developed with her clients over the years. Lynne looks forward to traveling, spending more time with her family and friends, and pursuing other interests.
